Domestic violence This section explains what the council's homelessness service can do to help you if you are being abused at home. Everyday, hundreds of women in the UK are abused in their own homes. This abuse can be physical, sexual and/or emotional and can affect women of all ages, cultures and backgrounds. If this is happening to you, you can get help from the Council's Homelessness Section on Faulkner Street in Rochdale. The section has a legal duty to help you, whether or not you have children. You will be able to discuss your options in confidence with understanding staff. Help and advice |
