RBH’s subsidiary company Brighter Horizons first new build scheme will provide 22 new homes for rent at Croft Street, Rochdale.

Rochdale Council want to hear your views on what type of housing is needed locally, so they can best plan for the future. They have sent out a questionnaire to a random sample of households, but you can get involved even if you don’t get one through the post by clicking here to complete their simple survey. The survey company have promised to donate £400 to the Mayor’s Charity, if they get 4000 replies, so please join in and share your thoughts. The deadline for filling it in is 23rd March.

Dig It’ Planting Grants For Community Groups

For the fourth year running, Community Groups across the borough are invited to apply for up to £2,500 to carry out a planting scheme to improve the look of their estate.  Any voluntary group with members who are council tenants or residents on a local Council estate can apply. Last year more than 20 grants were given across the borough, ranging from a few pounds for seeds to the full grant for larger-scale projects.

New website - Coming Soon

RBH is currently working hard on a new website which is planned go live In April.  The aim is to have a site that contains all the information that customers, partner organisations and other interested parties need about RBH and the services we provide.  The site will also be much easier to find you way around so that you can access the information you require or the services you want far more quickly.  A focus group of customers have worked with us to specify what we want to include in the site and how.  This group will also be working with us on the implementation.

DIY Training for RBH Tenants

Learn how to carry out small but useful DIY jobs/tasks in your own home e.g. patch plastering, grouting, fixing shelves with our fully qualified trainers.

 Estate Walkabouts

Tenants are welcome to join us on any of our scheduled estate walkabouts and help us identify problems and improve the condition of our estates.
